Meet our Mystical, Magical, Medicinal Trees!

Join Yanina as she guides you on a leisurely walk around a 1 mile loop trail in Asheville as we identify and discuss native trees of Appalachia and the Southeast.

We will explore their mystical, magical and medicinal properties. Deep dive into their traditional uses, native folklore and more uncommonly known spiritual properties.

This is not your typical Tree ID Walk. We will devote some time to reconnect with the trees in a deeper, more profound and meaningful way. With a respectful and earth-honoring spirit, we will identify all parts of the tree- medicinal and edible properties, spiritual attributes, utilitarian uses, traditional uses, and local lore.
