Service Description
This will be a hands-on, experiential workshop on folk method herbalism through the seasons and ages. You will be harvesting your own plant material and making your own remedy. You will leave with a 6 ounce jar of the folk medicine you created. Some topics we'll explore are: * Identification and medicinal properties of plants as well as various methods used in the preparation, selection of an appropriate solvent and extraction methods. * Sustainable harvesting and bioregional alternatives to overharvested plants. * Personal lineages and proper offerings according to ancestors as well as the land we are harvesting from. We’ll conclude our time together with a tea ceremony with delicious seasonal herbs from the garden. This workshop will run if there are a minimum of 2 participants signed up. If the minimum has not yet been met, we'll contact participants prior to the workshop to discuss options. Reach out if you'd like to book a private workshop experience.
