Traditional/Folk Medicine Session

Service Description

Traditional ancestral medicine assists to balance and align your body, mind and spirit, dissolves unconscious blocks, upgrades consciousness to higher light frequencies, and supports your path to your most desirable life trajectory. This session will include a Limpia (shamanic cleanse) A Limpia is performed by a Curandera (Traditional Ancestral/Folk Medicine Healer). It is performed with various objects depending on the Curandera or the situation at hand. Limpias are generally performed with elements found in nature such as plants, fire, water, minerals, etc. A Limpia, from the Spanish word "cleanse" is a spiritual /energetic cleanse or also known as a Shamanic Cleanse. It is used to cleanse the physical, mental and energetic body of dense energy sometimes labeled as negative energy. In reality it is not good nor bad but rather it is dense or heavy/sticky energy that can lodge itself within the body and cause unwanted symptoms. Density obscures connection. Curanderismo, from the Spanish word “Cura” or to Heal, is Traditional Medicine or Folk Medicine originally practiced in parts of Europe as well as in Central and South America. Forms of Curanderismo can be found in a number of different countries, as it is considered to have Catholic, Sephardic, African, Aztec, Mayan, and magico-religious influences. How it works: We will begin with a "spirit talk" and together we will determine the best suited combination of earth elements needed for your healing session. Folk medicine healings can be performed with various objects depending on the practitioner or the situation at hand and are generally performed with elements found in nature such as plants, fire, smoke, water, minerals, etc.
